In true Gothic architectural style, the church was built entirely of stone, without any steel reinforcing. All of the arches and ribbed vaults within the building are fully load-bearing.

Oh I can't can't wait to visit you in New York, Eric! Must have taken many late night wanderings to capture a photo like this. My favorite part is the graininess.
