I don't know if or when the novelty of sun rays will wear off for me but I dread the day.

I didn't know which statement was more true and couldn't reconcile one with the other so I just burst out laughing instead.

The Freedom Tunnel

After being built in the 1930s, the tunnel was quickly phased out of service in preference for automobile transportation. It became a haven for Manhattan's homeless population until 1991 when Amtrak evicted the tunnel and bulldozed the shantytowns.
